Ms. Pucillo’s Homework Page
Dear Middle School Students and Families,
Welcome back to another new and exciting school year! I am looking forward to getting to know all of you better through new experiences and discoveries in science class. I hope to inspire the students to have a passion for science, as I do, and to prepare them well for their high school years.
We all want our class to be as productive as possible while maintaining an enriching and comfortable atmosphere, which is why the following Students’ Rights and Responsibilities are so important.
Student Rights
- You have a right to be smart.
- You have the right to try new things.
- You have the right to make mistakes.
- You have the right to be you!
Classroom Responsibilities/Rules
- Come to class prepared with all materials.
- Enter class quietly, take your seat.
- Raise your hand to contribute to discussions or to ask a question.
- Respect others while they are speaking.
- Follow lab safety rules.
Grading Policy – Students overall grade will be an average of grades from a variety of activities (such as labs and experiments,) classroom assignments, tests, projects, homework, and class participation.
Extra Help – If you are experiencing difficulty in my class, please come to me for assistance as soon as possible. I will be in the science lab every Monday from 3:00-3:30 PM.
