Class Mission Statement
A mission statement is like a road map. It helps you know where you are going and it tells how you are going to get there. Here is the 2011-2012 first grade mission statement:
We, the BSCS first grade super stars, want to grow up to love Jesus, help others, and get good jobs. We come to school to get smarter so we can go to college, to get bigger levels of learning, and to learn right from wrong. Our job is to pay attention in class, do our work, and take care of our stuff. Our teacher’s job is to teach us new things, keep us safe and healthy, and help us have fun. Our parents’ job is to take care of us, feed us good food, get us to school on time, and help us with our homework.
Pretty impressive for first graders, don’t you agree?
